New member coaching is every Saturday, please be here by 8.30am for a 9.oo start. Once you have completed this basic safety coaching, we now have a new member match starting at 11.00am. Why not o come along and join in

The next range closure is for the the IPSC grand slam on Sunday 21st April. All Ranges will close at 3.00pm for set up.

Next Safety Courses

Gold Coast Pistol Club conducts weapons safety courses for category A,B,C,D, H & M. and it takes approximately 6 hours. You will need to ring and make an appointment and collect or have reading material emailed prior to the course.

Courses are held every month, but the course can be arranged at a time to suit you if you have more than 3 people. The statement of attainment required for your weapons licence is available 2 days after the completion of the course. Next course is Sunday 19th May at 10.00am for A,B & H, Sunday 16th June at 10.00am for ABH, there will be another course mid week during these dates to be advised.

The club can supply most firearms you require, we are very competitive, and would love to assist you. Why not use the club for all your requirements.
If we don’t have it we will get it for you.
We stock rifle and pistol safes, so if you are in need of a safe, please see us for a quote, you will find we are very competitive. We can set you up with everything you need for shooting from earmuffs & glasses to firearms and safes.

We now carry a full range of Dillon presses and accessories, so check us out first and support your club.
We stock ghost holsters and accessories for your convenience, and now have the magnetic mag pouches.
IF YOU ARE A NEW MEMBER AND WISH TO SHOOT OUTSIDE THE SATURDAY TIME SLOT, PLEASE CONTACT KATE AND SHE WILL ARRANGE FOR SOMEONE TO STAND WITH YOU FOR A SMALL FEE.

There is a new time table on range 1. .22 rifle from 9am to 11am, service from 11.00am to 1.00pm and NRA from 1.00pm to 5.00pm. This program has trialed for 3 months and will now continue at these times. Please come along and join in to make this change a success.

If you want to use the plate range, there is a maximum power factor of 140. They are not designed for any more than that, and major loads do so much damage, and repairs are very expensive. The plates will remain locked and the key is available from the office once power factors have been determined. If you are unsure of your power factor, see Kate and she will organise for someone to chronograph your loads for you. Plates are available Wed, Sat and Sunday.

Retirees Matches

The retirees would like to welcome any shooters to their Wednesday afternoon matches. These start at 12.30pm and they have 9 different matches they regularly do.

They are now doing cowboy fast fraw at 9.30am. This is a match using wax projectiles, a 45 long colt single action revolver with a shotgun primer in the case. You draw and fire from the holster at an electronic target, and the fastest time to hit the target wins. Why not came along and have a go at this.

Western Action Shooting

If you have completed your basic coaching, have you thought about western action shooting? Coaching for this is the 3rd Saturday each month starting at 9am. You will try 357 single action revolvers, 357 lever action rifle and a shotgun. Why not come along and have a go.
